ABOUT
HELLO!

Nice to meet you! I'm an aspiring interior designer and artist who is passionate about creating spaces and things that bring joy into our daily lives. After initially embarking on a science-focused career path, I have made my way back to art and design and I am so very glad to be here! I wouldn't change a thing, because the skills I honed from that degree (problem solving, critical thinking and willingness to try new solutions) are critical in design just as they are in biology.

In my design career, I hope to focus in residential spaces and smaller-scale commercial and hospitality (boutique hotels, restaurants and small businesses), but I am excited to experience as many avenues as I can. My favorite projects are ones where I can help add to the story of a space while maintaining its unique history and characteristics. I enjoy working directly with clients to build a cohesive design plan and help their unique ideas come to life. Sustainability, functionality, user experience and historical appreciation are key principles to my designs.
When I'm not busy learning in my design classes, I'm helping clients pick out fabric at work, spending time with my dogs, playing piano or tennis, or re-reading my favorite book series. Fun fact - I collect postcards and absolutely love all things snail mail!

I'd love to get in touch! Head over to my contact page where you can send a message or check out my social pages. Can't wait to hear from you!
